It’s time for a new Creative Creases challenge. The Triple Panel Arch card is taking off, and I can see why! I first spotted it from Patty Bennett a few months ago, but it was only 3″ tall. When I saw the Everyday Arches in the Online Exclusives, I knew I had to create my own version! Add in the Heirloom Arrangements kit, and the result? A stunning fun fold that highlights gorgeous kit images. I’m in LOVE with how it turned out! Then, I made a second one, creating it with a slightly different card base and used my regular stash so you could see how versatile this fun fold is.
Join the newest Creative Creases Challenge starting today! Whether you’re a seasoned cardmaker or just getting started, I hope this inspires you to play along. Have you tried the Triple Panel Arch card yet? Let me know in the comments!
Card #1

My Secrets!
Let’s start with the card base…
- Firstly, this card was constructed very quickly! All I needed was 6 arches ~ the blue ones were card base fronts from the Heirloom Arrangements kit. I used the largest arch from the Everyday Arches dies to make an A2 sized card. Then, I cut four more from white cardstock. You can use any paper you want, of course!
- After that, to make the card base, I cut two pieces of regular copy paper to 3 x 1 and scored it with my stylus (my trimmer scoring blade wanted to cut through the paper so be careful here) down the 3″ side.
- Once that was done, I adhered the copy paper at the bottom of each side of the arch that would be the middle panel. Then, I connected the other two arches on each side.
- Lastly, I took the other three arches and adhered them to the back side of the arches.
Now, the FUN part!
- Wasn’t that easy?! All I had to do after that was choosing which elements I wanted to put on each panel. The fact that they are all ready to go made this card even more fun.
- After that, I stamped the “Make a wish” sentiment in Crumb Cake ink onto the middle panel. And I also stamped the cute little sentiment from Sending Love stamp set onto the kit’s circle die-cut for the left (front) panel.
Then, the second card…

card base variation…
- So, for this card, I decided to try a different way to construct the card base. Firstly, I cut a piece of black cardstock, 12 x 3-1/4 and scored it at 4 and 8. (*12×12 Black cardstock is retired!) This card is thicker than the first one but I like it a lot!
- Then, I cut 3 arches from white cardstock and adhered them to the bottom of the black cardstock, leaving a small border on the bottom and sides.
- After that, I cut three panels from the black and white Mixed Media Florals designer paper and they were adhered to the back of the panels. This step is totally optional since not many people care about the back!
- Once that was done, I chose three pieces of the Meandering Meadow designer paper and cut them with the second largest arch. Then, I adhered them to the card base.
onto the fun stuff…
- That paper is so beautiful, I didn’t want to do too much to cover it up! So, for the left panel (technically the card front), I used the Greetings for All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack sentiment that says Happy Birthday and adhered it to a piece of white cardstock (3-9/16 x 1/2) and popped them up on the panel. I added a small flower from Cheerful Daisies bundle. I had many of the flowers already cut out so all I had to do was color it with Stampin’ Blends before adhering it to the panel.
- Then, for the middle arch panel, I stamped the sentiment from Layering Leaves stamp set in black ink. This is the panel I will use for a personal message. You could also add one to the back of the card very easily.
- After that, I added one of the Brushed Brass Butterflies, one each of the Dragonflies & Birds embellishments.
- Finally, for the third panel, I cut out the two branches, cut from scraps of the Meandering Meadow paper, then popped up another sentiment from the ephemera pack (these are so handy!).

I was a nervous Oma when Noah brought a painting kit with him to our home, but he did great! There was almost as much paint on the little airplane as there was on my craft mat!
Debbie, I love both of these gorgeous cards. I plan to CASE them soon. I love Noah’s creativity. Enjoy your day!
Well, not only is Noah well rounded in his skills, but your cards are as well! I like the first card but I LOVE the second…especially how you treated the back. It was such a fun hop today. Thank you for making it possible. Hugs!
Thank you Debbie for the beautiful cards! The first one is fabulous! Thank you so much for sharing!
The 2nd is also beautiful but this card is more for later ….
Beautiful arch cards, Debbie! Those butterflies and soft colors make me think of spring and then the second card has a more dramatic, summery feel to it! Both stunning! You were brave to let Noah paint his airplane! I’ve only given Sawyer Color Wonders markers and those water painting books where the colors show up when water is added and then fade when they dry. Real paints will have to wait awhile! Have a wonderful weekend, and thanks for welcoming me to the CCC DT!
Just love these cards can hardly wait to make them. What a great way to use the arched dies.
Thanks for sharing.
Gorgeous card, Debbie! Love the Spring colors and designs. That die cut arch is amazing. Your second card is amazing too. Such great inspiration. Thanks for sharing at A Cut Above’s March Challenge.

I love the second card. It would make such a beautiful sympathy card for such a sad time.
Beautiful cards Debbie and a fabulous fold. Of course I’m going to have to try this fold! Thanks for the instructions, CarolG
Two beautifully done cards Debbie, with such pretty images on each panel. And Noah did a great job painting. I can see why you were nervous with that pretty rug under the table but it sounds like he kept the colors on the craft mat and his airplane. Great job Noah!!
Thanks so much for sharing at my Crafty Wednesday challenge!
