WAHOO!  My card was both PPA and My Pumpkin Challenge Awesome PICKs!!

Hello!

It’s time to show you my card from September Paper Pumpkin.  Anyone who has children or grandchildren, from kindergarten through adulthood, will find themselves using this stamp set over and over.  Paper Pumpkin stamps are EXCLUSIVE – you won’t ever find them in the catalog.  It is this fact alone that keeps me excited receiving my little Paper Pumpkin box every month.  LOVE it!!  The Pals Paper Arts challenge that started today was a sketch challenge.  I really like this sketch and thought it went perfectly with this stamp set.  I have also just started following a blog for the Paper Pumpkin kits called My Pumpkin Challenge and thought it would be fun to play along.  I love to see what other people are creating with the kits.  Check it out!

It’s All in the Details

  • Stamp Set:  Paper Pumpkin September Stamp Set, Banner Greetings
  • Paper: Winter Frost DSP, Midnight Muse, Smoky Slate, Cherry Cobbler Cardstock
  • Ink: VersaMark
  • Cool Tools: Modern Label Punch, Hearts A Flutter Framelits
  • Finishing Touch: Silver 1/8″ Ribbon, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Cherry Cobbler Embossing Powder

Tip of the Day:  Did you notice the ends on the bottom banner?  Instead of just cutting a piece of cardstock, I thought it would be nice to have a similar edge as the Modern Label punch.  This photo is the best way to teach you how to do your own:

So – there you have a pretty quick card for someone in your life who has accomplished something worth celebrating.  My daughter is in her Junior year of high school and is taking very difficult classes.  The end of the first grading period is coming up and I want to make sure she knows how proud we are of her!

I hope you liked my card today!  If you did, would you please leave me a comment?  I would love to know who you would like to send a card to that would let them know how proud you are of them.  Don’t let those moments pass you by!  I have cards for birthdays, gratitude, holidays, even sympathy all saved up and ready to go.  I am going to make more cards like this to have on hand so that my loved ones will know that their accomplishments are noticed and appreciated.

As always, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.  Until next time,

Keep calm and craft on!

Debbie
