By the Seashore

Hello!

By the Seashore was the perfect stamp set for me to use to make a card for three different challenges! That IS a challenge in itself to find a format for a card that works for more than one challenge but I thought it was worth a shot!  Freshly Made Sketches has a sketch by the wonderfully talented Linda Callahan.  The Paper Players has a challenge by Jaydee to make a project with wildlife and I think my crab could qualify, don’t you think?  Pals Paper Arts has a color challenge, using Early Espresso, Summer Starfruit and Crisp Cantaloupe.  So, there you go!  My very first triple challenge!

I love everything about the ocean, just won’t get in it!  My husband needs to see “water” to relax so every vacation we take will involve an ocean, river, lake, etc.  He deserves it though – his career is very demanding and he doesn’t get many chances to “let go.”  Any stamp I can find that is water-related must be bought and will be used repeatedly.  I hadn’t used the crab from this stamp set yet, so it needed its moment in the spotlight, I decided.  The sentiment from Trust God stamp set was one I have always been drawn to but hadn’t used yet either.  I thought it was rather fitting for my little crab!

It’s All in the Details

  • Stamp set:  By the Seashore, Trust God
  • Paper:  Summer Starfruit, Early Espresso, Crisp Cantaloupe, Very Vanilla
  • Ink: VersaMark, Early Espresso
  • Cool Tools: Square Collection Framelits
  • Finishing Touch:  In Color Boutique Details, Early Espresso Embossing Powder

CAS cards are always fun and, since they don’t need many details, you can whip them up in a jiffy. I hope you liked mine and, if you did, would you please take a moment and leave me a comment?  I am working on a project for Sunday’s post so I hope you will be back to see it!  Until next time,

Keep calm and craft on!

Debbie
