Welcome to the Fun Folds Blog Hop with Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators!!
Hi, Stampers! Fun folds make every handmade card extra special, and today’s blog hop is FULL of great ideas! Whether you’re looking for a unique way to surprise someone or just want to try something new, you’re in for a treat. I’ve teamed up with very creative SU demonstrators to bring you a lineup of creative, must-try designs.

Isn’t this is great fun fold? I just love it! I first made THIS card during the holidays and always wanted to make another one that was for any occasion. The Perfectly Pears stamp set and Painterly Pears designer paper are just gorgeous, and I decided to use it again since it was still out from my last card. I have all of the instructions to make this card below and if you want to see the products I used, never fear! I have links to the available products at the bottom of my post.

My Secrets!
Let’s start with the card base…
- Firstly, this A2 card started out with cardstock, cut to 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 and scored at 4-1/4.
- After that, I cut the designer paper to 10 x 5-1/4 and scored it at 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. Fold in valley-mountain all the way to the last scoreline.
- Once that was done, I adhered the DSP on one side and folded up the DSP, added glue to the other end piece and closed the card to make sure that it would close. Then, I was able to make sure it was in the right spot and make any small adjustments before it dried completely.
Now, the FUN Part!
- Once that was done, I was able to make the little images very quickly with the Framed Scenes oval dies. I cut two large ovals from white cardstock and one from the smaller die. Then, I stamped the sweet floral image from Charming Day stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink and colored it with Stampin’ Blends.
- After that, I stamped the sentiment from Tags to Go stamp set with Mossy Meadow ink. It looked a bit bare to me, so I added the flowers from the Painterly Pears paper.
- Finally, I cut out the cute little background die with Painterly Pears paper and glued it down. Then, I layered the two small pears over it, popping it up with dimensionals.
- Then, to make a personal message, I cut white cardstock with the small Textured Notes die. But it looked lonely to me, so I colored one of the branches from the Charming Day dies with Stampin’ Blends, layered it with the sweet floral image from the Painterly Pears paper, and the sentiment from More Messages stamp set.
- To finish it all off, I added the Flat Pearls to the flowers.
Then, on the front…

- Isn’t it fun to make the front of the card to complement the inside for a change? I cut and glued the Painterly Pears paper to the front, cut to 5-1/4 x 4.
- I made a panel with Mossy Meadow cardstock (cut with the retired Deckled Rectangle die that was in my stash) with a different patterned paper (4-3/8 x 3-1/8).
- After that, I cut Secret Sea cardstock and the patterned paper from Painterly Pears with one of the small Party Banners dies. I layered them at different angles then added two of the large pears and leaves from the Painterly Pears designer paper.
- The sentiment from More Messages bundle was added by popping it up with dimensionals and one of the flowers cut from the Painterly Pears paper with Flat Pearls for a touch of sparkle.

Thanks for Scrolling to the End!

I got a little Oma time with my little sweetheart boy, Musa, who is now 4 months old. He’s getting bigger and so is that smile, although the smile can get a bit drooly. He’s chomping on anything he can get in his mouth including Oma’s finger, which made me think he’s starting some teeth. I can’t believe he’s gotten that big already, but the snuggles are the best!
Debbie, this is a fabulous fun fold. You’ve featured great elements from this beautiful paper.
I love it and will be making one of my own!! I don’t have Pear paper but have plenty of others that would work!
