My Kindest Gnomes Holiday Card for Make My Monday

Super Easy Kindest Gnome Holiday Card by Secrets To Stamping

Hi, Stampers, I’m back on the Make My Monday Design Team today where the theme is “Christmas in August.” So, this is officially my first holiday card for the upcoming holiday season. Do you make lots of holiday cards but don’t have oodles and oodles of time to make them? If that sounds like you then I have the card that is perfect for you! For my Kindest Gnomes card today, I wanted to show you how you can make your holiday cards super cute with very little work and supplies!

Firstly, the biggest time saver with the adorable Kindest Gnomes suite is the dies coordinating with the stamps as well as the designer paper. If coloring your images takes too long when making multiples of the same card, then all you have to do is cut out the gnomes from the paper and you’re done! Plus, I cut out 23 gnomes from just one sheet of the DSP! This card was so easy to put together and will help me to make lots for sending this year.

Once you finish here, I hope you visit our Make My Monday Design Team gallery for some great inspiration and play along!

My secrets to making this Quiet Meadow project

  • Firstly, this A6 Kindest Gnomes card started with Night of Navy cardstock, cut at 6-1/4″ x 9″ and scored at 4-1/2.”
  • Once that was done, I cut out the designer paper to 5-7/8″ x 4-1/8″ and layered it onto white cardstock that was cut to 6″ x 4-1/2.”
  • Then, I found a scrap of white cardstock that was already cut to use as the snowy hill, which I cut down to fit the layered panel.

Now, the FUN Part!

  • After that, I cut the gnomes with the coordinating dies as well as white cardstock to give them some dimension on the card front. Then, I cut out the mushroom house with the coordinating die and cut out an extra one from scrap paper for some dimension as well.
  • Before adding the gnomes and house to the card front, I stamped the sentiment on the snowy layer in Night of Navy ink. Then, they are added to the card.

I’m sharing my card with these challenges:
