Make My Monday has a new challenge starting today, “Outdoor Fun” with Caz as our host. Although there are lots of ways to have fun outdoors, my family always loved going to the beach. Therefore, this sweet image needed to be inked up for old time’s sake, because it seems like forever since we were able to go. I just love this Beautiful Moments stamp set!

• This 6″ square card started with White 12″ cardstock, cut at 6″ x 12″ and scored at 6.”
• After that, I cut a piece of white cardstock to 5″ square, then cut an oval in the middle and dry embossed it with the retired Seaside embossing folder.

Now, the FUN Part!

• Firstly, I stamped the image from the Beautiful Moments stamp set onto white cardstock and began filling it in with Stampin’ Blends markers (colors listed below).
• After that, I began filling in around the image with sponging for sky and ground, as well as adding the foliage and a little yellow glow of the sunrise.
• Once I was satisfied, I adhered it to the white panel, then layered it onto Sahara Sand cardstock.
• Then, I stamped the sentiment with Sahara Sand ink and cropped it out with Double Oval Punch, layering it onto Sahara Sand cardstock.
• Finally, I wrapped Linen Thread around the area and popped the sentiment over it with dimensionals.
