Paper Pumpkin January 2026 Special Delivery for the Creative Crafters Challenge

Hi, Stampers!

A new Creative Crafters Challenge starts today, and I have THREE cards from the Paper Pumpkin January 2026 kit, called “Special Delivery.” It’s such a cute kit, and I loved making these cards! Of course, I had to make them different than the kit shows, and I made a fun fold that I have never used before. It’s fun and easy—my favorite!

The design team always has beautiful cards that you will want to see. So, check out the Creative Crafters gallery and jump in—it’s more fun with you there!

Card #1

  • I wanted to try the new fun fold from Connie Stewart HERE and I thought this kit would work perfectly.
  • Card Base: 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 and scored at 1, 2, and 5-1/4 (burnish score lines)
  • DSP Panels: Right Panel: 3/4 x 5-1/4 (Kit’s card base was cut for the panels.)
  • DSP Panels: 3 x 5-1/4 (2 for the front & inside)
  • Focal Panel: Cardstock: 3-1/2 x 3-1/2, DSP: 3-1/4 x 3-1/4
  • Once the layers were ready, I first added the panels to the card base. Then, I added adhesive to the right edge of the focal panel, making sure that the adhesive doesn’t go over the edge of the back-bend piece.
  • Then, I stamped the “Just for You” sentiment from the Paper Pumpkin January 2026 kit in Blueberry Bushel ink of white cardstock and cut it with the Stylish Shapes square die. I glued the pretty floral die-cut from the kit onto the panel and added the Opal Rounds (Tip: I colored the clear ones with the Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends marker.)
  • Inside: I cut another card base for the second panel on the inside. I stamped the flower from the kit in Blueberry Bushel ink as well as the sentiment to finish the card.

Card #2

  • Firstly, I cut the Garden Green cardstock at 11 x 4-1/4 and scored it at 5-1/2.
  • Then, I ran the postage panel from the kit through the Stone & Vine embossing folder for some texture and adhered it to the card base.
  • After that, I found an oval from a long-retired set of frames when I was organizing my craft space recently, so I have them at my fingertips to use on my cards now. Unfortunately, I have no idea what kit they came from.
  • I adhered the oval to the attractive gold plaid oval from the kit after I had stamped “hello” from the Fabulous Sayings stamp set. (I just didn’t like the gold piece by itself.)
  • The pink flower is lovely but a little flat-looking, so I decided to add some Pretty in Pink ink along the outside petals using a blending brush. I used some gold trim from my stash, made a double bow with no knot, and taped it in place. Then, the flower was popped up with dimensionals and placed onto the card base.
  • I took the large leaves die-cut from the kit and cut off the leaves to glue under the flower.
  • Finally, I adhered the buds portion of the leaves die-cut to the embossed layer and popped the focal panel over them onto the card base. Every floral card needs some sparkle, so I added the Pretty in Pink gems.

Card #3

  • If you want to see how to use the kit with minimal extra supplies, this card is for you! All I added was a white card base, cut to 11 x 4-1/4 and scored at 5-1/2. I stamped the “air mail” sentiment to the upper right corner in Poppy Parade ink.
  • I adhered the postage panel from the kit onto a panel of Bubble Bath cardstock, cut to 5 x 3-3/4.
  • After that, I stamped the “sending love” sentiment from the kit onto the round cut-out (also from the kit).
  • Then, I popped the flowers over the panel (the flowers on the panel match those I used) with dimensionals.

I hope to share my card with these challenges:

Happy birthday, Adam, my son who just turned 32! We had a wonderful time at a very popular Greek restaurant here. The food was incredible, and did you see that dessert?? Wow! It’s known as a bougatsa, but I believe this particular one is truly unique, especially after researching it online. And my sweet grandsons, wearing identical shirts, were entertaining everyone close by, especially the staff.

  1. Wow, that bougasta looks incredible! And those boys look so adorable!
Such pretty and creative cards, too. Kits feel stifling to me, but you see the possibilities that are so much better!
