Paper Pumpkin July 2025 Card for Inspiration Station

Create this card using Paper Pumpkin July 2025 kit by Stampin' Up! and Debbie Mageed at Secrets to Stamping

Hi, Stampers!

Are you ready for a new Inspiration Station  Challenge? We’ve got a brand new photo to get your creative wheels turning. When I saw it, I immediately thought about the Paper Pumpkin July 2025 kit. I’m so glad I kept the unused supplies! My grandson Noah loved that kit and is always asking me to make his next card with it because he loves strawberries. I’m not remembering the name of this fun fold at the moment (it will definitely come to me after this is posted though!) but I’ve made it many times. I barely had to use anything from my stash of products, so you know this card was fun to make.

So, what about you? What part of the inspiration photo speaks to your creative soul? Your interpretation of the inspirational photo is your own, so let your creativity flow! I’d love to see how it moves you.

Head over to the gallery for a dose of inspiration, and if you’re feeling crafty, come play along with us!

My Secrets!

Let’s start with the card base…

  • Firstly, this card started with white cardstock, cut to 11 x 4-1/4 and scored at 5-1/2. Once that was done, I cut the card base to 7-1/2 on the long side and cut 2″ off the remaining piece for the bottom of the card base. The piece that remains can also be used for the bridge between the two pieces, but I chose to use the patterned card base from the kit.
  • After that, I cut one of the kit’s card bases down to 1-7/8 x 4-1/8 for the top and bottom panels of the card base. Then, I cut another patterned card base with the Nested Essentials die for the bridge between the two panels.

And now, the fun part!

  • Honestly, the rest of the card came together so quickly and easily because the images and sentiments were part of the kit. I stamped the Garden Green “thank you” sentiment through the window to the inside of the card. “Life is sweeter with you” was stamped in Poppy Parade ink onto the scalloped circle, then popped up with dimensionals onto the bridge.
  • After that, I took my bone folder and curled the strawberries a bit to give them a little dimension (strawberries aren’t flat). Once that was done, they were also popped up with dimensionals.
  • The last thing was adding the sweet little flowers. Because I couldn’t find any Poppy Parade embellishments, I used the clear dots from the Ladybug Garden Shapes and colored them with the dark Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends.

Then, on the inside…

  • I didn’t like that the back of the bridge was visible, so I covered it with another of the kit’s card bases using the same Nested Essentials die. Then, I arranged more strawberries and a flower on top.
  • Lastly, I cut a 1/2″ piece of the strawberry card base to bring a little something-something to the bottom of the card.

We had a spontaneous Memorial Day gathering at our house! Musa just had to be outside and was so happy to sit in our rock river, playing with all of the rocks. Noah had so much fun flying his paper airplane, so everyone had a great time. And needless to say, my heart was full!

  1. Great idea for using those elements- this looks like fun! And yay on the inside decoration, I would have needed to complete that, too. The boys are growing up so quickly!!! (and lol, here in CA we call that river a “water feature” while we xeriscape our yards)

  2. Fabulous card, Debbie. I have a friend who collects anything strawberry related. This would be perfect for her. Thank you for joining in the Allsorts birthday celebrations.
