THREE Paper Pumpkin March 2026 Fluttering Garden Cards

Hi, Stampers!

I’m trying to take advantage of some (rare) free time and play with the Paper Pumpkin kits that are starting to stack up. Can you relate? Well, it was easy to get creative with the Paper Pumpkin March 2026 kit, called Fluttering Garden. I had to get my hands on the beautiful hummingbirds! The kit also came with two stamp sets, so I can play with them again in the future. I made a fun fold card, a gift card holder, and another using a gorgeous new frame die, Phrases & Frames Dies, coming out on May 5th.

My Secrets!

Card #1

  • This was the first card I made, because I wanted to try out the new Phrases & Frames Dies, which uses the new impression plate to add dimension to the frame. I went through my designer papers and found that the Brushed with Beauty paper pack matched the wings of the hummingbird, making it the perfect choice.
  • Card Base: The frame, once cut, measures 5-1/2 x 4-1/8. So, I decided to use the Assorted Memories & More Cards & Envelopes. It’s a larger card than the A2 size, measuring 6-1/4 x 4-1/4, but the envelopes are provided, so there’s no problem using them. (They are currently still available and on sale in the Last Chance List.)
  • Background Panel: 6-1/8 x 4-1/8
  • Phrases & Frames Die: Firstly, I cut the Brushed with Beauty designer paper with the die. Then, I removed the top plate and replaced it with the new Impressions Plate, which gave the frame the dimension you can hopefully see in the photos. (Secret: designer paper may crack from the pressure, so don’t crank it through more than once.) Then, I cut another frame with cardstock and glued them together to give it some strength.
  • Panel inside the Frame: 4-1/2 x 3
  • Once everything was adhered to the card base, I popped the hummingbird (from the Paper Pumpkin March 2026 kit) on the card base with dimensionals.
  • I couldn’t decide what sentiment to put on the card front and whether it would look nice with white or colored cardstock. So, I have left it without a sentiment for now. I would love your opinion! Please give me your suggestions in a comment.

Card #2

  • The second card uses mostly products from the kit. I love making a Z-fold with my Paper Pumpkin kits, so here it is!
  • Card Base (from the kit): scored at 2-1/8 and it’s already scored at 4-1/4.
  • I stamped the pretty florals at the bottom of the card base and the little dots that I placed to look like the little insects you always see swarming around flowers. (does anyone know what they are?)
  • Then, I used the Paper Pumpkin add-on frame die from the Beautiful Blooms dies and cut the postage frame with Pool Party cardstock. Once that was done, I cut Basic Gray cardstock, cut to 2-1/4 x 3-1/2, and glued it to the postage frame. I popped the “thank you” sentiment from the kit with dimensionals and glued the panel to the left side, making sure that the glue didn’t go over the edge of the Z-fold panel.
  • Once that was done, I was able to add the hummingbirds and the little gems from the kit.

Card #3

  • My last card for you today came together so fast and easy! This fun fold is a great way to add a gift card if you’d like.
  • Card Base: Cardstock: 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 and scored at 1 and 3-1/2.
  • Front Panels: The card base from the kit was cut to 5-1/4 x 3, and the small one at the bottom of the card was cut to 5-1/4 x 3/4.
  • Then, I cut the pretty envelope down to 5-1/8 x 2-7/8 and glued it to the first panel.
  • Before gluing the small panel to the bottom of the card, I put the sheer ribbon (long retired but perfect for this card) around and then glued it to the card base.
  • The sentiment, from the kit, was glued onto a circle of Pool Party cardstock, cut with the 2-3/8 circle punch.
  • Then, I glued it to the card base (make sure it is only glued on the top of the circle).
  • I made a double bow with the sheer ribbon and added the Rainbow Dots (on sale on the Last Chance List).
  • Inside: I used the other piece of the card base used on the front and cut it down to 5-1/4 x 4. Then, I adhered the two sides of the 1″ bottom panel to make a pocket for a gift card. Easy!

  1. I absolutely loved card 2 & 3 Thank You & Grateful for You. Card 1 was nice just too flowery for my style. Thanks for sharing

  2. Noah looks happy in my favorite place!(the pool). And wow on all three of these beauties! Some cards just aren’t right with a sentiment, like #1, but I say put it aside and reflect and the right thing will come to mind when needed. Card #2- I love those buzzy little dots and that was genius to use them as busy little insects ( very Classic Pooh, actually) Your gift card holder is soooo pretty as well. That is a great stamp set that comes with that PP!
    Fabulous post today, my friend!

  3. WOW these are all just gorgeous Debbie! Well done! OMG your little guy is too cute … glad he’s enjoying learning how to swim … very important! Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Triple B challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.

  4. They are beautiful.
I also have a stack of PP’s. When I do get to them I make 1 of each as directed. Then I make the rest free style.
I like to use the decorated backs for fronts on white basis and get extras out of the kit.
