Since this year is behind us, it’s an excellent time to look back and see what went well. So, I am joining the 2022 Year In Review Blog Hop. Picking my favorites is always difficult but as I was going through my gallery, there were definitely ones that I felt really good about. Because I was out of commission from my crazy move from Michigan to Chicago for a few months, my picks aren’t in month order but rather in loose rank order. I’ve included a link to the original post for each creation, so if you’d like to find out more about each card, simply click that link.
This collection of cards shows my new love of fun fold cards (the easy ones). And it shows my love of nature and flowers! So, which ones do you like? Please let me know in a comment and you might win my blog candy offer (see below)!
Honeybee Home Foldback Pop-Up Card
This card was so much fun to make with a new fold and pretty designer papers! Love this Fresh Freesia color! This card is also my #1 pinned card this year.
Fond of Autumn Card
This card came together so nicely and the coloring on the flowers and leaves came out pretty much exactly how I wanted. Love the background die, which made the designer paper even prettier!
Nature’s Harvest Faux Stepper Card
This easy fun fold really helped to highlight this pretty floral stamp set! I just love the designer paper!!
Caroling Mice Bendy Gatefold Card
How fun is this holiday card! I just loved this sweet host stamp set and the designer paper really elevated the card. The inside is just a sweet, I think, due to its bendy fun fold!
Season of Chic Triple Step Card
This card really speaks to me in every way! The beautiful floral stamps, probably my favorite paper ever, and a great fancy fold for display.
In The Moment Triangle Trifold Card
I love this card because the image reminds me so much of my beautiful daughter, Sarah. She really loved this card and appreciated the green shirt! LOL Even the fun fold is great, and used a citrus designer paper that she really loved as well.
Cottage Rose Fun Fold Card
This card is a great fun fold to have a few layers for more sentiments and pretty pastel papers (my favorite!). The Cottage Rose flowers were stamped, colored and paper pieced together for dimension. Love it!
True Beauty All Occasion Card
What I just love about this card is not only the pretty flowers that were cropped out from designer paper but the pretty background die that shows them off. I popped up the middle section to mimic the same pattern and added just a touch of bling.
Nature’s Harvest Angled Gatefold Card
Firstly, this fun fold design was huge this year, so I had to give it a go. It was lots of fun to create and I have tips to help anyone make it in my post. Obviously, I love this beautiful flower because it’s the only one that is on this favorites post twice!
Color & Contour Suspended Book Fold Card
This book fun fold really intrigued me and wanted to make it the star of the card by using neutrals with just a pop of Petal Pink. I just love how it stands up for display.
Paradise Palms Side Step Card
Because my husband is obsessed with the ocean, I have to make nautical themed cards for him. These palm trees remind me of our years of living in Florida, which DH misses (but I sure don’t!) – and coloring the gems to look like coconuts makes me smile every time.
Easter Friends Pocket Front Card
Wow, another fun fold made my list but it’s the adorable duckling and coloring the same grass pieces in different colors that I really love about this card.

They are all so lovely… but I am so intrigued with so many of these unusual folds. I do like to try out new ones every now and then myself. (though as I type this I think only 2 or 3 of my cards are unusual folds– and not nearly as complex as yours).
Each one so beautiful with these wonderful card folds! I wish I had the patience to do fancy folds as they make the cards so extra special! Hard to choose a favorite but think it may be True Beauty All Occasion card. I just love how you used the die cut on the background!

What a beautiful collection of cards! I love the Fond of Autumn and Nature’s Harvest cards. Love all of the different folds and use of DSP. Looking forward to what you will share with us in 2023.
